Celebrating 10 years of being part of Thomson Reuters
April 2018 marks the 10th anniversary since Digita joined Thomson Reuters – and what a decade it’s been! Now part of the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters, we have 150 staff in our Exeter and Exmouth offices.
We’ve seen the business change and evolve significantly, yet the close-knit company culture Digita is fondly known for has not gone away. Tucked away down by the Devon coast, locals are still surprised to learn that such a well-known company is right on their doorstep.
As a business we’ve had so many highlights over the years – multiple annual customer conferences, bake-off challenges, summer boat trips and charity events have kept us occupied as the company has grown and evolved. Many original Digita employees still work here today, with some joining almost three decades ago!
We celebrated our 10th anniversary in style, surprising staff with a traditional seaside favourite fish and chip lunch at to our Exmouth office. Staff arrived in the morning to find special gift boxes on their desks full of items to celebrate the day ahead. Everyone could take a moment to reminisce with a collage of photos from past events – older photos were dug out and displayed, allowing people to re-live the old days of Digita.
Some quotes from staff from the day:
“To me it’s the people who work here who make it a great place to work; whatever changes or challenges we face – whether professional or personal we support one another and together we come smiling through.” Julie Sandford
“I work with people from all over the world in my role as Client Services Manager for Checkpoint World, which is an absolutely amazing opportunity for me but also each day is something new and challenging to engross myself in.” Erin Stutt
“I’m looking forward to the next 10 years to see what we can do and achieve!” Kyle Morris
We hope all our staff enjoyed the celebrations and would like to thank them for making the company what it is today. Read more about the celebration of 10 years of being part of Thomson Reuters in Exmouth, Devon.
