Thomson Reuters forms strategic partnership with Pagero Group
LONDON, (May 15, 2019) — Thomson Reuters today announced it has formed a strategic partnership with Pagero Group to share Pagero’s e-invoicing and continuous transaction control (CTC) capabilities and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax determination and indirect compliance capabilities.
“We are excited to join forces, as we believe that the unique capabilities of both companies and our solutions complement each other well for the benefit of our customers. We share the same view – that customers can focus on doing business and let Thomson Reuters and Pagero take care of their regulatory compliance requirements,” said Sarah Robbins, Sales Lead, Europe, for the Corporates customer segment of Thomson Reuters and Nazar Paradivskyy, VP Compliance at Pagero.
In the ever-changing world of indirect tax regulations and governments extending their digital footprint, companies need an agile technology platform coupled with expert consulting services to maintain local compliance with cross-border operations.
This new partnership combines Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax’s automation and accuracy across tax and finance workflows with Pagero’s open, cloud-based business network for automated exchange of business documents across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Together, this will enable our mutual customers to address their compliance needs more efficiently and effectively, by providing multiple benefits, including CTC – such as mandatory business-to-government (B2G) e-invoicing and e-ordering, Pan European Public Procurement Online (PEPPOL), invoice clearance and real-time transaction reporting – as well as post-invoice periodic and ad-hoc reporting, including SII and SAF-T.
